What We Fix
From Valencia condos to larger-lot homes in Castaic, the appliances in this valley run from brand new to thirty years old. We repair what is actually in your home, and our vans are stocked so that, in most cases, the repair is finished the same day.
Not cooling, a warm freezer, water on the floor, an ice maker that quit, or a compressor that never shuts off. Warm months make compressors work harder, and that is when many of these calls come in. Start with the common causes of a fridge not cooling, or see our freezer and wine cooler pages.
Washers that will not drain or spin, drums that bang or squeal, and dryers that run but never heat. We work on front-loaders, top-loaders, and the stacked units found in many Santa Clarita condos and townhomes.
Burners that will not light, ovens that run cold or not at all, dead control boards, and worn bake elements and igniters, on gas and electric ranges, cooktops, and wall ovens.
Dishwashers that will not drain, start, or get dishes clean (hard-water scale is a frequent cause here), plus built-in and over-the-range microwaves that stopped heating.
Sealed-system, control-board, and ignition work on Sub-Zero, Wolf, Thermador, Viking, Dacor, Jenn-Air, and KitchenAid built-ins, handled by technicians trained on manufacturer specs.
Commercial refrigeration repair for restaurants and shops ($100 service call), and repair for landlords and property managers with COI and Net-30 billing.
Stacked Washer & Dryer Service
Stackable units in tight closets are a regular part of our week, common in Santa Clarita condos and townhomes.
Evaporator Coil Diagnosis
A coil pulled from a refrigerator during diagnosis. We explain what we find before any work begins.
Built-In Refrigerator Diagnostics
Testing a built-in refrigerator with a digital gauge. Built-in kitchens need patience and the right tools.
Sealed-System Repair on a Built-In
Gauge hoses and a nitrogen tank set up for sealed-system work on an older built-in refrigerator.
What It Costs
Every visit starts with a $69 diagnostic ($100 for commercial refrigeration). If you approve the repair, that fee comes off the total. You get a written quote before any work starts, so the price you approve is the price you pay.
| Appliance | Typical range |
|---|---|
| Refrigerator & built-in column | $200 – $1,500 |
| Washer | $149 – $499 |
| Dryer | $149 – $449 |
| Oven, range & cooktop | $199 – $449 |
| Dishwasher | $199 – $399 |
| Built-in microwave | $169 – $429 |
Brand and age move the price most. A sealed-system job on a built-in refrigerator sits at the top of the range, while a dryer belt or an oven igniter sits near the bottom.
Local Know-How
Three local conditions explain a lot of the calls we run in this valley.
Much of the valley has hard water, and over the years scale builds up in dishwasher pumps, ice maker valves, and washer fill valves. A white film on glasses or ice that has slowed to a trickle usually points there. We clear the scale or replace the part, and we will tell you if a softener makes sense.
When afternoons pass 100°F, refrigerators and freezers in garages and utility rooms work much harder. Dusty condenser coils and tired compressors fail first. Cleaning a coil is cheaper than replacing a freezer full of spoiled food.
Condos in Valencia and Canyon Country put stacked laundry in tight closets. Established neighborhoods like Newhall still run 20 and 30-year-old ovens and refrigerators that are often worth keeping. Newer custom kitchens bring built-in luxury brands.

Santa Clarita FAQ
Most calls are scheduled the same or next day. Because we dispatch from Santa Clarita itself, many customers see a technician within about two hours of calling, depending on the neighborhood and time of day. You can book online or call (661) 727-0750.
A common rule of thumb: if the repair costs more than about half the price of a comparable new appliance and the unit is near the end of its typical life, replacing makes more sense. Typical lifespans are roughly 10 to 15 years for refrigerators, 10 to 13 for washers and dryers, 9 to 10 for dishwashers, and 13 to 15 for ranges. Younger than that, repair usually wins. Built-in luxury units are the exception, since they cost so much to replace. We give you an honest read after the diagnostic, and if it is not worth fixing you pay only the $69 visit.
It can. Hard water leaves scale in dishwasher pumps and spray arms, in ice maker and refrigerator water valves, and in washer fill valves, which shortens their life. Typical signs are a white film on glasses, slow or small ice, and a washer that fills slowly. We descale or replace the affected part and tell you whether a softener or regular descaling would help. Not every failure is a water problem, so we diagnose before we blame the water. See our dishwasher repair page for more.
All major residential brands, including Samsung, LG, Whirlpool, GE, Maytag, KitchenAid, and Electrolux. For built-in luxury kitchens we repair Sub-Zero, Thermador, Wolf, Viking, and Dacor.
We are open Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 7 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 8 AM to 6 PM. There is no surcharge for evenings, weekends, or holidays. The price we quote is the price you pay.
Every repair carries a written warranty on parts and labor. Standard parts and control boards are covered for 3 months, labor-only repairs for 1 month, and sealed-system and compressor work for 1 year or longer, up to 5 years depending on the repair. The exact term for your job is printed on your invoice before work begins.
